Bedford Police Make Arrest in Connection to Woman’s Death

June 10, 2024

Bedford Police announced today they have arrested Brandon Paramore, 39, of Euless who they have charged with murder in connection with last Thursday’s death of Christine Barsanti, 79, of Bedford.

On Friday, according to a City of Bedford News Flash, “Bedford officers responded to a call regarding an unconscious person in the 2400 block of Meadow View Lane.”  The News Flash states that, upon entering her home, officers found Ms. Barsanti, “who appeared to have passed away after being struck by an unknown object.”

The officers reviewed the footage from the home’s surveillance camera, the News Flash detailed, and “saw a man approach the homeowner’s door and ring the doorbell.  Ms. Barsanti answered the door and spoke to the suspect, who asked to use her phone.”  She refused the suspect entry, so the suspect, appearing similar to Paramore, forced his way in.

“Paramore immediately became a person of interest,” the News Flash said, was “quickly located” and was “placed into custody” on Saturday “for unrelated charges.

“Our thoughts are with Ms. Barsanti’s family, who have been supportive throughout our efforts to bring her justice,” said Deputy Chief Bobby LaPenna.

According to the News Flash, “Paramore will be transferred to the Tarrant County Jail, where he will be arraigned and bond is set. The case is still under active investigation.”
