New “Upscale” Barber Opens in Bedford
With more than 20 years of experience under his belt, Marlon Johnson is opening his Sippi Kutz Barbershop, located in Suite #500 of the Salon and Spa Galleria at 1501 Airport Freeway in Bedford, at Forest Ridge, as announced in a news release from 24-7pressrelease.com.
According to the release, Sippi Kutz Barbershop will serve men, women and children with all types of hairstyles, including “custom fades, cornrows, all types of braids, straight razor shaves, ladies’ pixie kits and much more.” Marlon, who has become known for his expert braiding skills,” the statement reads, “is also an instructor for professionals interested in learning the techniques.”
Normal hours for the shop are Monday thru Saturday from 10am to 7pm “but flexible,” said Marlon. Although walk-ins are always welcome, appointments are suggested and can easily be made by calling/texting (817) 501-4567. To honor veterans and senior citizens, Sippi Kutz Barbershop will offer $20 haircuts on Mondays and Tuesdays.

New Bedford Clinic Offers a “Bridge” of Medical Services
Medical options in Bedford continue to grow with the opening of a new urgent care clinic. WithCare Clinic, in a press statement released Friday through EIN Presswire, describes itself as a hybrid of primary and urgent care facility for the “HEB community.” Their “state of the art clinic,” the statement said, is a medical services “bridge” filling the “gap” between “urgent care and primary-preventive care” for “individuals and families.”
According to the statement, WithCare Clinic, located at 4157 Bedford Road, Suite 200, is hosting its ribbon cutting and grand opening event Tuesday morning, July 16th, from 11:00 to 12:00 “with the support” of the HEB Chamber and is open to the public. The event offers refreshments, tours of the clinic and a chance to meet the staff, the statement said.
“HEB is finally getting an H-E-B!” the City of Bedford announced today. The statement through the city’s News Flash press release said the Texas-based grocery store, which is widely revered by shoppers throughout the state, “will be located at the northwest corner of Cheek-Sparger Road and Rio Grande Boulevard (the road into the Glade Parks development) with a projected opening date sometime in the second half of 2026.”
The News Flash said the details known so far are that the new H-E-B, to be built on land within the jurisdictions of both Bedford and Euless, will be a “normal-sized” store of 119,000 square feet and will “face east, toward Highway 121.” The store “will have a True Texas BBQ” and a pharmacy, each with a drive-thru” the News Flash states. In addition, an H-E-B Fuel Station and car wash will be coming in the future.
